3. User Responsibilities
You agree that you:
- Own or have rights to all uploaded code
- Will review all generated outputs before use
- Will not rely on Refactyl as a substitute for testing
- Will not use the Service for unlawful purposes
4. Intellectual Property
Your Content
- You retain ownership of all uploaded code.
- You also retain ownership of all AI-generated refactored outputs.
- You grant Refactyl a limited, temporary license to process your code solely to provide the Service.
Our Content
- Refactyl, its software, branding, and documentation are our intellectual property.
- You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the Service.
5. AI-Generated Outputs
- Outputs are generated automatically and may contain errors.
- Refactyl does not guarantee correctness, completeness, or suitability.
- You assume all risk associated with using generated code.
6. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE".
WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING:
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Merchantability
- Non-infringement
Refactyl does not guarantee:
- Bug-free output
- Production readiness
- Security compliance
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
Refactyl is not liable for:
- Data loss
- Production outages
- Security incidents
- Financial losses
In no event shall Refactyl be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits or data) arising out of or in connection with the Service.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Refactyl in the preceding 12 months.
8. Fair Use & Abuse
You may not:
- Abuse free tiers
- Attempt to bypass limits
- Scrape or reverse engineer the Service
- Use Refactyl to build competing products
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for abuse.
9. Payments & Refunds
- Paid plans are billed in advance.
- Fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
- We may change pricing with notice.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access:
- For violation of these Terms
- For misuse or abuse
- For legal or security reasons
Users may terminate their account at any time.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Maharashtra, India.
